Indian Consular Services in UAE
The India Embassy in the UAE, Abu Dhabi and Indian Consulate of UAE, Dubai, offers various services, including passport applications, visa processing, and consular assistance for Indian citizens residing in the UAE.
Indian Consular services in the UAE is handled through 16 outsourced Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) managed by Alhind Tours & Travels, w.e.f. 22nd July 2026.
Key Services and Processes
- Passport Services: Individuals can apply for new passports, passport renewals, and other passport-related services.
- OCI Services: Individuals can apply for OCI card, renewal/reissue of OCI cards, and other OCI card-related services.
- Visa Services: Visa applications for India are processed through http://www.indianvisaonline.gov.in.
- Consular Assistance: The High Commission and consulates provide assistance to Indian citizens in various consular matters, including:
- Attestation
- Birth, Marriage certificates, Driving license, Power of Attorney, Salary slips provided by organisations in UAE, Religion certificate, Sponsorship declaration etc.
- Death registrations
- Marriage registration & Marriage solemnisation
- Indian citizenship
- Community Affairs
How to avail the services?
- Identify Service Type: Determine the specific consular service needed and check eligibility.
- Begin Application:
- Download the necessary application form https://www.indembassyuae.gov.in/page/application-form/
- Complete the necessary application forms, and submit them with the required documents.
- Book Appointment:
- All applicants can book prior appointments at https://consularsevainuae.com/
- The appointments will be released at 9 AM and 9 PM daily.
- Select your preferred center, date and time& submit the online application.
- Visit ICAC center & Submit: Visit ICAC center as per scheduled appointment in person and submit the application and documents.
- Track Application: Monitor the progress of the application online.
